THE GREAT PYRAMID
THE GREAT PYRAMID was built when construction technology supposedly consisted of simple copper chisels, stone tools, ropes and wooden sledges.
However, archeological evidence says that the ancient Egyptians did not have technical access to wheels or pulleys for the transportation and lifting of the stone blocks.
Lengths of cord or rope were used as rulers for linear measurements, which were found to stretch when used. This must have resulted in poor accuracy on repeated and single measurements. When this simple tool evidence is compared along with the measured Great Pyramid constructed accuracies of plus or minus 0.5 millimetres and with angles within 6 minutes of arc over lengths of 230.3 metres, errors which can only be seen by measuring with modern surveying equipment... it is -- in engineering terms -- Quite incredible! It is AMAZING that this quality of precision could have been achieved with only the simple stone tools of some 4,600 years ago. However, solid evidence of the use of specialized tools, HAS been found within the Great Pyramid construction showing that GIANT Saws, some of up to 2.75 metres in length were used to cut granite blocks, together with evidence of the use of (Continued on page 4)
