up A Spiritual House
(in contrast to a 'physical church building), to be a Holy Priesthood… ye are an elect race, a Royal Priesthood…" 1 Peter 2:5 & 9. The fact remains, all Believers must further the Gospel, if only by the great witness of a Godly life! This kind of Life, offers a good opportunity to give one's personal testimony.

Scriptures do not support the idea of Seminaries or Bible colleges. The Bible clearly shows that Jesus and the Apostles [except Paul] had no seminary education. No Bible college, no seminary. They followed God, not the traditions of men! They received their learning from the Bible, and the Bible only, and, "ON THE JOB"  Training.
Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would reveal the truth of God's Word! Speaking TO His disciples, He said: "...But you shall receive power, the Holy Spirit coming upon you. And you shall be witnesses to Me both in Jerusalem ..., and to
the end of the earth.…" Acts 1:8. In John 14:26 Jesus said that the HOLY SPIRIT is the one who guides us into truth (often the colleges or seminaries do not even teach the Bible, but teach the doctrines and teachings of their particular denomination). Jesus said, "But the Comforter, even the HOLY SPIRIT, whom the Father will send in my name, HE SHALL TEACH YOU ALL THINGS, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you." John 14:26. In fact, because the early Christians held to this policy of learning from the Bible alone, relying on the Holy Spirit to guide them into all truth, they were considered ignorant! as we read in Acts 4:13:
"Now when they beheld the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were
unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus."
Think about that!! In the standard of THE WORLD, the Apostles were 'unlearned and ignorant', because they did not have a piece of paper from the accepted Religious institutions of their day! Remember, however, that these same leaders who thought them unlearned and ignorant "marvelled, and …took knowledge... that they had been with Jesus!"
Men and, yes, women should NOT be paid to preach the gospel! Jesus, of course, was not paid for His ministry, nor were His Apostles. The house meetings established  by the Apostles, were headed by 'elders' [ or 'bishops'], men who were not hirelings. These men freely gave their homes, earnings and time to the gospel, and did not get paid for the privilege! Jesus said "…freely ye have received, freely give." Matthew 10:8. It is NOT the will of The Lord to charge for preaching the gospel! Preaching of the gospel is to be done FREELY, and with joy. The Lord never intended for men and women to make the preaching of the gospel into a profitable career. There, of course WILL be profit, but not here on earth!
Note that the Elder of each church (Several churches would exist in each town) furnished the facilities and oversaw, or supervised the meetings. They were NOT like the modern Preacher or so-called, "pastor" who Preaches To an audience.
Because of these Truths, True Christianity will be, and has been, rejected by the VAST MAJORITY
.  The truth is, true Christianity will be considered radical by most people. Jesus, the apostles and the prophets were all considered radical--a dangerous sect. The Bible says that Christians are a PECULIAR  people.
True Christianity will boldly rebuke and hate evil to such a large extent that those who preach the truth will greatly upset those who are evil. Those who preach truth will suffer persecution as a result.  FEW can truly accept the TRUE Gospel! The truths just discussed will be rejected by the VAST MAJORITY of Sects and their leaders, just as Jesus WILL reject many of them!

Mat 7:22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

It might be good to ponder these things the next time you think about
GOING to "church"!

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
